This film is incredible. It is visually stunning, experimental, disturbing and intriguing. The film follows a dance company overshadowed by an unknown dark force which takes control of the characters within. The mysteries that lie within this dance company are given over to the audience gradually before shocking you with some of the most disturbing horror visuals you will ever see. The use of prosthetics and make-up artistry are incredible. The directing style of Luca Guadagnino shines through every element of this film from colour palette to varying frame rates, lighting, slow zooms and horror visuals so perfectly crafted they seem almost to look like pieces of traditional art. This is just a perfect horror film. The use of dance as a horror medium is like nothing else I have ever seen and has such a unique way of disturbing the audience. I will always recommend this film to horror fans. I simply love it, Luca Guadagnino at his finest.
